Production Engineer job in Surrey – DOE
Hexwired has partnered with a company who are a leading company in the defence industry. They are looking for a Production Engineer who will be working on different systems effectively. Although you will be working in a team you should be able to work under your own steam.
This role:
- This position is suited to an advanced-level electronic and mechanical assembly professional with a minimum of five years’ experience in a technical production environment.
- Applicants must have experience with NPI and early-stage drawing packs, along with surface mount expertise and IPC Class 3 certification.
- The role requires the ability to interpret job cards, production and development drawings, test plans, technical instructions, and process documentation.
- You will be responsible for inspecting parts and sub-assemblies, identifying defects throughout the manufacturing and assembly process, and ensuring all work meets specified quality standards, tolerances, and production schedules.
