Product Assurance Engineer job in Oxford | Up to £60k (depending on experience)
Hexwired has partnered with a leading company in the aerospace sector. As part of its continued growth, the company is looking for a Product Assurance Engineer in Oxford. In this role, you will manage product assurance activities for electronic units and subsystems designed and manufactured in-house or sourced externally.
Key skills required for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 5+ years’ Product Assurance experience across space, and commercial programmes.
- Experience with electronic, electromechanical, and optical systems design, manufacture, assembly, and test.
- Knowledge of EEE Parts, Materials & Processes, Radiation Hardness Assurance, and RAMS.
- Full lifecycle experience on space missions, from definition through to disposal.
- Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
- Experience with European Space Agency standards.
- Experience implementing ISO 9001 and AS 9100 quality management systems.
- Proven root cause analysis and problem-solving experience.
