Optoelectronics Engineer job in Guildford – £60k – £70k – semi remote
Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for an international Electronics Manufacturer with offices in Guildford now seeking an Optoelectronics Engineer to help a brand new range of products utilising technologies within various optical applications! You will be working as part of a small, dedicated team developing a brand new product from the ground up.
The company are expanding due to recent successes in their industry. They are seeking an Optoelectronics Engineer ideally with an academic background in Photonics/Optics, as well as a few years commercial experience in a commercial or R&D company. You will be working with some of the biggest companies in the world.
This Optoelectronics Engineer job is based in Guildford. The company operate a hybrid model, with 3 days on site and 2 days from home.
Key Skills:
- Degree in Photonics, Optics, Optoelectronics or similar
- 2+ years commercial experience in role focused on Lasers or Optoelectronics design
- Full product lifecycle experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
