Field Technical Support Engineer job in Fleet – Up to £60k (depending on experience)
Hexwired has partnered with a leading company in the aerospace sector. They are looking for a Field Technical Support Engineer who will deploy, configure, and integrate systems on customer site. This includes providing technical support to clients in face to face and monitoring system health whilst resolving incidents.
Key skills required for this role:
- 4+ years experience in integration, deployment, or technical support roles, with strong practical experience of Linux systems.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, routing, and switching), with Python and/or Bash scripting skills and familiarity with C/C++ for code review and debugging.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with a structured, methodical approach, the ability to work independently, and a high level of ownership and accountability.
- Must be eligible for UK security clearance
- International travel required
The salary for this Field Technical Support Engineer role will be up to £60,000 per annum. The company is rapidly expanding and are at the forefront of their industry.
