Senior Engineer job in Surrey – Up to £80k (depending on experience)
Hexwired has partnered with a company who are a leading company in the defence sector. They are looking for a Senior Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring that all company products and systems are safe to use and certifiable to applicable standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining all relevant documentation, ensuring full compliance with applicable safety legislation, regulatory standards, the project Safety Management System, and contractual requirements.
Key skills required for this role:
· Proven expertise in Product Safety Engineering and the delivery of Product Safety Management for complex systems, preferably within the defence sector.
· Experience leading hazard identification, safety analysis, risk assessment, and Safety Case development.
· Strong knowledge of safety legislation, standards, and regulatory requirements, including defence standards and compliance.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
· Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing, motivating, and developing engineering teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timescales.
· Must be eligible for UK security clearance
The salary for this Senior Engineer role will be up to £80,000 per annum. The company are rapidly expanding and are at the forefront of their industry.
