Data Engineer job in Reading – £40K
Hexwired is recruiting for a highly innovative consultancy based in Reading, now seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and operate the company’s data capability for high level applications.
The company are expanding due to the needs of their clients and is seeking a data engineer, who must be eligible for UK security clearance and ideally has previous experience working on distributed systems in production.
Key skills:
- Eligible for UK security clearance.
- Proven experience with open-source data integration and streaming technologies.
- Prior experience as a data or platform engineer working on distributed systems in production.
- Good knowledge of data modelling fundamentals, data contracts and schema evolution.
- Proven experience in designing for scalability, reliability and operability.
