Senior RF Design Engineer job in Cambridge – £60k – £70k
Hexwired has partnered with a cutting edge R&D consultancy based in Cambridge, now looking for a senior RF design engineer to work on the firms next gen products.
This is a senior RF design engineer role that will play a key role in designing, building and testing new RF based systems and products. The role provides the opportunity to use your technical skills to work with a team to follow exciting new ideas through from concept into reality.
Key Skills:
- Must be eligible for UK SC clearance
- Good MEng in electronic engineering (or similar discipline).
- 6+ years post-graduate experience in designing RF-based circuits (e.g. for radios and/or radars).
- Experience developing products and modules from concept through to successful design verification.
- Good microwave, RF and analogue design and simulation skills. RF amplifier, filter and frequency synthesiser design.
- Advantageous but not essential:
- Radio and/or radar systems knowledge
- Team leadership and/or line management experience
- Digital circuit design skills
- Experience in mm-wave frequency design.
