Senior HPC Engineer job in Birmingham | Salary: Competitive
Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a leading technology and engineering company. Due to continued investment in future technologies, they are now seeking an experienced Senior HPC Engineer to join their Future Technology team.
Required Experience
- Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of quantum information and computational science, or significant experience with classical linear algebra.
- Commercial or research experience developing and implementing quantum computing algorithms.
- Experience with quantum development environments such as PennyLane, QuEST or similar.
- Strong C++ and Python development experience.
- Experience with quantum algorithms, ideally including Quantum Singular Value Transformation and Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computing.
- Strong communication and consultancy skills, with the ability to work with technical experts, academics and wider stakeholders.
- Experience with HPC, parallel programming, simulation, modelling or machine learning would be advantageous.
