Senior Computer Vision Engineer Job In London – Outside IR 35 – Contract – £60 per hour
An established technology company specialising in advanced AI solutions for defence and other high-performance applications is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join its team of engineers and researchers on a 6 month contract. The organisation develops cutting-edge deep learning technologies, combining artificial intelligence with neuroscience-inspired approaches. You will develop and deploy advanced computer vision solutions using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and enhanced Deep Neural Network (EDNN) technologies. Working alongside engineers and researchers, you will translate innovative research into robust, production-ready applications.
Key Skills and Responsibilities for this Senior Computer Vision Engineer role:
- Develop, train and optimise computer vision models using CNNs, Vision Transformers and deep learning techniques.
- Translate AI research into reliable, production-ready software and scalable ML pipelines.
- Strong Python programming skills and practical experience with PyTorch; TensorFlow is advantageous.
- Experience with model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, software testing, version control and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments, alongside the ability to collaborate with technical teams to deliver advanced AI solutions.
- An MSc, PhD or equivalent industry experience in AI, machine learning or computer vision
