Production Engineer job in Wickford | Up to £60k (depending on experience)
Hexwired has partnered with a company who are a specialised electronics manufacturer. They are looking for a Production Engineer who will be based in Wickford. The main responsibilities for the Production Engineer are to optimise and support manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production flow, maintain product quality, and support continuous improvement within an electromechanical production environment.
Key skills required for this Production Engineer job:
- 2+ years of production engineering, manufacturing support or process engineering experience.
- Experience with electromechanical assemblies (motors, sensors, PCBs, actuators, wiring, etc.).
- Exposure to high-mix or low-volume manufacturing environments desirable.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and quality tools (FMEA, SPC, 8D, Ishikawa, etc.)
The salary for this Production Engineer role will be up to £60,000 per annum. The company are rapidly expanding and are at the forefront of their industry.
