Lead Electronics Engineer job in London – £60k – £70k
Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a pioneering space-tech company based in London, now seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer to support their next gen products.
Having already launched their first products, the company is scaling fast to meet the demands of their clients. They’re looking for a hands on electronics engineer with a strong background in board level design and a passion for working on mission critical hardware.
This is a Lead Electronics Engineer role focusing on end to end electronics design, from concept through to flight, including power, control, imaging, and high-speed data systems.
Key skills:
- 7+ years of experience in PCB and hardware development (digital & analogue)
- Strong hands-on experience with schematic capture, layout, simulation and testing
- Familiarity with interfaces: SPI, I2C, RS422, USB, MIPI/CSI-2, PCIe, Ethernet, LVDS
- Experience with FPGAs, image sensors, microcontrollers, and power electronics
- Background in aerospace, automotive, or other high-reliability systems preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic start-up environment
The company is offering circa £65K depending on experience, along with a competitive benefits package including pension, private healthcare, and flexible/remote working.
