Lead Electrical Design Engineer job in Southampton – £65k
Hexwired are recruiting for a Southampton based engineering consultancy specialising in thermal technologies. Now seeking a lead electrical design engineer to join their multidisciplinary engineering team and play a key role in the design, development and manufacture of cutting edge products.
The company are expanding due to the requirements of their clients and are now seeking a lead electrical design engineer ideally with experience across power conversion, transformers, switches, converters and SMPS.
Key skills:
- Degree educated in Electrical engineering or similar
- Experience with electrical and electronic system architecture and requirements definition
- Strong understanding of thermal management systems and materials considerations for an industrial environment
- Experienced in Electrical and electronic systems engineering, including power conversion, transformers, switches, converters, SMPS
- Experience in Industrial automation, control systems and industrial software
- Experience with Control Panel design (HMI, PLC, SCADA)
