Lead Systems Engineer – Contract – Inside IR35 – Oxford
Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a Well established Electronics manufacturer with offices in Oxford. They are now looking for a Lead Systems Engineer with experience leading the development and delivery of Payload space systems.
The company are working with customers globally to develop novel solutions to a range of applications, utilising the latest technology available! As a Lead Systems Engineer, you will be working closely with the various engineering teams to help build and deploy their next generation of products. In this role you will have a real impact on the influence of the product from Design to Manufacture.
This is a Lead Systems Engineer role heavily focused on reporting and project management, along with some exposure to Hands on engineering. The company are looking for Contractors who can start as soon as possible.
Initial 1 year contract with likely extension.
Key Skills
- Degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Electronics, Systems Engineering or similar
- 10+ years experience in a Systems role working on Wireless comms products.
- Previous experience in the space industry
- Experience in Engineering for RF or Space systems (Antenna, GNSS, Signal processing etc)
- Good experience dealing with PM and broader systems responsibilities (budgets, forecasting, reporting etc) is highly desirable.
