Senior Naval Architect job in Portsmouth – DOE
Hexwired has partnered with a company who are a leading company in the defence industry. They are looking for a Senior Naval Architect who will be developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation. Although you will be working in a team you should be able to work under your own steam.
Key skills required for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, preferably in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
- Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD modelling software such as Rhino, Inventor, or SolidWorks.
- Skilled in the use of Naval Architecture software; familiarity with Paramarine is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience with CFD tools and hydrodynamic analyses for AUVs, small submersibles, and surface vessels is desirable.
