Project Manager job in Cheltenham – £50K – £80K
Hexwired has partnered with a company who are a leading company in the defense sector. They are looking for a Project Manager who will be overseeing and coordinating multiple related projects to achieve strategic business goals. Although you will be working in a team you should be able to work under your own steam.
Key skills required for this role:
- A minimum of a grade B in A-level Mathematics and a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Previous experience in the defence or security sectors is highly advantageous.
- Strong software development capabilities, particularly in Python and HTML/JavaScript, would be a significant benefit.
- An understanding of hardware development and manufacturing processes is desirable.
- Must be eligible for UK security clearance
- Familiarity with Linux-based environments and Proficiency with collaboration and project management tools such as Confluence, Jira, GitLab, or OpenProject.
The salary for this Project Manager role will be up to £50,000-£80,000 per annum. The company are rapidly expanding and are at the forefront of their industry.
