Network Engineer job in Epsom – £45k – £55k
Hexwired has partnered with a leading company in the defence sector. They are looking for a Network Engineer to support the IT and engineering teams. Although you will be working in a team, you should be able to work independently.
Key skills required for this role:
- Demonstrated technical proficiency and a “right first time” approach to all tasks.
- Must currently hold, or be able to readily obtain, DV Security Clearance.
- Minimum qualifications of FCSS/FCP and/or CCNA/CCNP, or an equivalent certification.
- At least five years of experience working across multiple networks, including hands-on design and management of network infrastructure.
Experience should include some of the following technologies:
- Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls (including FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer)
- Cisco Routers (29xx, 83xx, 4xxx series, IOS-XE)
- Cisco Switches (29xx, 93xx series)
- Cryptographic systems
- VPN, IP SLA, BGP, OSPF, IPSEC, VoIP, QoS
The salary for this Network Engineer role will be £45,000 – £55,000 per annum. The company are rapidly expanding and are at the forefront of their industry.
