Project Manager job in Buckingham – £55K – £70K
Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a well-established engineering company based in Buckingham, currently seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead and deliver a variety of complex, cross-functional projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team working at the intersection of software, mechanical, and electronics engineering.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of technical projects from concept through to completion. Working in a hybrid environment, they’ll coordinate teams across disciplines, ensure project objectives are met, and maintain high standards of quality, timing, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle project delivery across software, mechanical, and electronics workstreams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and budgets
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and milestones
- Maintain alignment between technical delivery and customer requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and team communication
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience managing engineering projects with cross-disciplinary elements (software/mechanical/electronics)
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams
- Excellent planning, budgeting, and risk management capabilities
- Comfortable operating in a hybrid working environment
