DevOps Engineer job in Cambridge – £45k – £50k
Hexwired Recruitment have partnered with a leading electronics manufacturing company that are now looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join their growing team.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee continuous delivery systems and practices
- Design and manage automated deployment workflows
- Monitor, support, and improve infrastructure and application performance
- Partner with software developers to automate and optimise operations
Contribute to:
- Oversee code deployments, fixes, updates, and associated processes
- Work with open-source technologies and cloud platforms
- Implement and automate security controls, governance practices, and compliance checks, adhering to best practices
- Define and deploy systems for monitoring, metrics collection, and logging
- Strong background with Linux, Linux Administration
- Shell scripting
- Docker
- Python
- Cloud services such as AWS
- Understanding of scalable networking technologies
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar development role
