Software Engineer job in Cambridge – £50k – £70k
Hexwired have partnered with an expanding Cambridge based manufacturer of wireless electronics is seeking to a Software Engineer to the already growing Engineering team. They are a leader within their industry and within increased demand for their current and future products they need to add an experienced Software Engineer proficient in C# to the fold. This Software Engineer will be responsible for the development of robust, high-quality software applications. The role will suit a Software Engineer ready to take the next step in their career, gaining greater responsibility for the direction of projects while still being able to lean on the expertise of a strong team around them.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong C# proficiency (3+ years commercial experience)
- General OOP experience
- Experience developing RESTful APIs
- Experience maintaining/ extending existing software as well as the creation of new applications
Desirable:
- Experience working for an electronics manufacturer/ embedded device company prior
- Experience with algorithms, UI frameworks (WPF), web frameworks (ASP.NET), and Linux shell scripting.
