C++ Software Engineer – Bristol – £50k-£90k – Hybrid
Hexwired have partnered with a rapidly expanding Bristol based firm at the pinnacle of advancement in Computer Vision tech. Their SLAM software has a wide range of applications and their ambition to become market leaders is matched by their continued expansion. In line with this they are looking for the addition of a C++ software Engineer to join their team.
You’ll make valuable contributions across the Software Development Life Cycle and take an important role in design and architecture discussions. They are able to consider mid and senior profiles so this is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career.
Requirements for this role:
- 3+ years commercial experience developing in C++
- Strong experience within GPU programming
- Proficiency with CUDA
- Strong knowledge of the STL
Nice to have:
- Domain experience within a related field – Robotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning
- Working knowledge of ROS
- Computer Vision with libraries such as OpenCV
- Performance acceleration with NEON or similar
- A background in mathematical/ highly technical software
