Software Test Engineer – 45k semi remote - Southampton

Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for a rapidly expanding electronics provider based in Southampton now seeking a Software Test Engineer to help deliver key projects.

The company are expanding to meet the demands of their clients and are seeking a software test engineer ideally with software test experience with networking and serial debugging.

This is a software Test Engineer job focusing primarily on initial software specifications, running test for customer acceptance testing, partner compliance, supporting software releases into production and the field.

Key skills required for this Software Test Engineer job:

• 2 + Years software test experience.
• Python Scripting and test automation knowledge would come at an advantage
• Experience with networking and serial debugging.
• Fault finding utilizing logic analyser, oscilloscope and multi meter.
