Power Electronics Engineer – Oxfordshire - £55k - £65k

Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for a rapidly growing Aerospace market leader who are now seeking a Power Electronics Engineer.

As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will design, test, and document power hardware.

Key skills required for this role:

• Supporting the inverter and converter power development and contributing to specification and circuit reviews
• Design and validation of high-power inverters for automotive applications
• Simulation and evaluation of thermal models
• Assist with PCB layout design and manufacturing
• Assessing component lifetime
• Support EMC testing and the improvement of technical files
• Degree or equivalent in electrical engineering with proven experience in industry
• Knowledge of ECAD tools, EMC testing, and inverter systems
• Confident in dealing with customers and suppliers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
