Logistics & Project Manager- £40k-£45k - London- Semi-remote  

Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a rapidly expanding wireless telecom industry now seeking Logistic & Projects Manager by overseeing the distribution of goods by being involved in the transportation and monitoring the flow of goods.

The company specialises in sensor technology and works with the companies all over the world.

Logistics & Project Manager- £40k-£45k - London- Semi-remote  

A continuous growth and ambitious plan for the coming years makes this a unique opportunity to join the company as a Logistics & Projects Manager.

As an additional member to the team of Logistic & Projects Manager you will be reporting to Operations Manager with the below duties/responsibilities:

• Supervise the setup of any new suppliers within consignment and the company’s third-party warehouses
• Managing and organizing the end-to-end cost control and income with any changes to the distribution routes
• Controlling orders to ensure they are complete, maintaining communication with all team members, and recording documentation effectively.
• Reach customers through Customer Support department to keep them informed or directly through the Sales Order Processing team
•  Create, implement, and/or lead cross-functional improvement plans to rectify root causes of KPI shortfalls by utilizing root cause analysis techniques
• Improve efficiency and effectiveness of the company's processes and systems, including the ERP system
• Establish a sustainable way to manage incoming orders through a fully integrated system

Key Skills:

Understanding of UK and export transport regulations, including export freight regulations

Working within manufacturing environment experience required

Experience with process improvement, ERP implementation, systems improvement, and standard operating procedures

Excellent communications skills verbally and written

Knowledge of office IT applications and advanced Excel user

Experience of working with SAP

Dealing third party service providers experience

Good knowledge of Lithium Batteries and ISO9001 quality management system highly desirable but not essential
