Hexwired Recruitment has partnered exclusively with a rapidly expanding Aerospace manufacturer now seeking a Lead Controls Engineer with solid experience liaising with customers on requirements as well as Controls Architecture for a brand new system they’re developing.

The company are rapidly expanding due to successful investment as well as partnerships with several multinationals in their sector. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to get on the ground floor of a brand new R&D project with Multimillion pound investment.

Due to the nature of the work some onsite work will be required but the company are offering remote working where possible. This role will focus heavily liaising customers, Architecture with some hands on R&D. You will be an integral part of the business with plans to expand your team.

Lead Controls engineer - £80k - £90k + Bonuses– Semi remote – Oxford

Key Skills:

Masters or PhD  in an Engineering Discipline

Strong commercial experience seeing Avionics project from design to manufacture

Recent experience leading engineering teams on aerospace  related projects

Awareness or experience working to Aerospace Certifications (DO-178B, C etc)

Previous experience dealing with stake holders and enterprise customers on requirements

Previous engineer experience design control systems using Matlab/Simulink
