Embedded Software Engineer - £60k – Hitchin – Semi Remote

Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a rapidly expanding Electronics manufacturer in Hitchin now seeking an Embedded Software engineer to help support the development of a range of bespoke industrial control systems..

The company are well established and are expanding due to customer demand as well as recent successes in the market. The company are keen to find an Embedded Software Engineer understanding of Microprocessor design as well as an appreciation of Electronics Design.

You will be working as a team to develop innovative solutions. The company are able to offer semi remote working with a preference for engineers to be onsite 1-2 days a week.

This role is suitable for an Embedded Software engineer with good experience working on Firmware, using test equipment and programming processors and controllers.

Key Skills:

Bachelors or higher in Embedded systems, Physics or similar

3+ years commercial Embedded C experience

Good experience working on Microprocessors (Cortex-M3 preferable)

Version control experience (Bitbucket, Jira etc)

Commercial Hardware design or an appreciation for Electronics is highly desirbale
