Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a world leader in Wireless Communications who are now seeking a talented Embedded Linux engineer to help develop a brand new wireless system the company developing. The company are expanding due to growth and are seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer ideally with relevant experience within Satcoms.

The company have offices globally and you will get the chance to see your code used across a range of industries as well as utilising the latest tech in Embedded systems.

Embedded Linux Engineer - Braintree Essex - £50k - £60k

Key skills

Good experience writing Embedded C

Embedded Linux experience (ideally across both Kernel development and Userspace Linux)

Experience using Python for building scripts

Serial comms experience (SPI, PCIe, I2C, CAN etc)

A background working on devices utilising FPGA is highly desirable

Wireless communication protocols experience is also advantageus (4G, 5G, IOT protocols etc)
