Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a rapidly expanding R&D company based in Southampton who are now seeking an Senior Embedded Software Engineer with solid low level Device driver experience for high performance networking solutions.

The company are developing a range of revolutionary products, partnering with some of the largest manufacturers in their industry. This role is an essential part of the companies development and you will have a strong influence on the final design of the product.

Senior Embedded Software Engineer - £55k - £65k – Semi remote – Southampton

Key Skills

5+ years commercial Embedded C experience

Excellent experience on low level drivers

Experience working on products utilising FPGA’s

Good experience working on networking processing tools (DPDK, Wireshark etc)

Knowledge of Embedded Linux is highly desirable but not essential

The company are offering circa £65k dependent on experience along with an excellent benefits package. Due to the nature of the work, the company will need you onsite a few days a week with some flexibility around this. If you’re interested, please apply.
