Team Lead Electronics – London – £70K – £80k
Hexwired Recruitment is presently on the lookout for a seasoned Team Lead Electronics Engineer. In this role, the Team Lead Electronics engineer will take charge of both technical leadership and line management responsibilities for a team of hardware engineers engaged in the research, design, and development of digital and analog electronics.
This pivotal role involves furnishing authoritative electronic hardware technical leadership across one or more projects concurrently. This unit engages in the concurrent execution of various research, development, and production initiatives. Additionally, the role offers the opportunity to undertake line management responsibilities for a compact team of hardware engineers, typically ranging from 1 to 5 members.
Key skills required for this Team Lead Electronics Engineer Job:
- Prepared and capable of obtaining, as well as maintaining, SC security clearance.
- Holds a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or possesses equivalent experiential qualifications.
- Proficiency in crafting high-speed digital designs encompassing processors and programmable devices.
- Experience in analog circuit design and switched-mode power supply design.
- Proficiently designs dependable power supply solutions that fulfill requisites and conducts meticulous analyses across diverse input and output scenarios, accounting for temperature fluctuations, and producing precise performance estimates.
- Proficient in leveraging schematic capture tools and adept in applying layout constraints through rules, classes, and groups.
- Has successfully executed intricate, large-scale designs necessitating multi-layer PCBs, including PCB stack-up design.
- Holds an appreciation for design and testing concerning EMC and TEMPEST.
- Possesses experience in tools like DOORS, PADS, and/or PSpice. Displays an understanding of design and testing in the context of EMC and TEMPEST (preferred).
- Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, PADS, and/or PSpice (advantageous).
