Senior RF Design Engineer – Wood Green – £60K – £81k
Hexwired Recruitment is actively in search of an exceptionally proficient and seasoned Senior RF Design Engineer. Assuming the role of a Senior RF Design Engineer entails assuming a leadership position in spearheading the evolution of our cutting-edge UWB locating system for sports applications, as well as managing the enhancement and ongoing refinement of the RF components within our existing product portfolio.
With substantial immersion in the realm of consumer/embedded electronics, the ideal candidate will have been deeply entrenched in the complete development cycle of numerous hardware products.
Additionally, a track record of effectively leading the RF aspects of select projects through production and market launch would be a distinct advantage.
Key skills required for this Senior Electronics Engineer Job:
- Demonstrated proficiency in implementing and configuring software-controlled digital-input RF transceivers, including but not limited to WiFi and Bluetooth. Ideally, possess familiarity with UWB transceivers.
- Accomplished RF front-end design and adeptness in conducting measurements up to 10 GHz.
- Competent in selecting, integrating, and designing antennas for use in embedded products.
- Proven track record in both Digital and Analog Electronics design, with a desirable emphasis on applications powered by batteries.
- Holds experience in navigating the certification process for standards like CE, UKCA, and FCC.
- Proficient in utilising eCAD tools for Schematics and Layout, with a preference for proficiency in Altium.
