RF Engineer – Cambridge – D.O.E
Hexwired Recruitment is currently hiring for a dynamic electronics manufacturer that is actively seeking an RF Engineer. As an experienced RF Engineer, your responsibilities will include contributing to the design process of current and future products. You will be involved in taking RF and Hardware circuit designs from simulation to the development of production-ready equipment. Additionally, you will drive efforts to enhance performance while simultaneously reducing size, weight, and power requirements.
Key skills required for this RF Engineer Job:
- degree in Electronic Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in RF research and development,
- Recent and verifiable experience in designing receivers, utilising LNAs, mixers, switches, synthesisers, and filters, with a focus on frequencies up to 20GHz (ideally 40+GHz).
- Strong knowledge of analogue circuit design, showcasing excellent skills in this area.
- Proficiency in the layout of RF and microwave PCBs, particularly in high-speed designs.
- Experience working with microcontrollers and SOC devices.
- Proficiency in writing embedded software using the C programming language.
- Knowledge of bus protocols, including PCle, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet.
- Demonstrated ability to take RF and Hardware designs from the development phase to production readiness.
- Familiarity with Altium for schematic capture and PCB design.
