NPI Engineer– London – £45K – £65K
Hexwired Recruitment is presently in search of a proficient and seasoned NPI Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the seamless transition of new products, enhancements, and advancements from the development and engineering phase into the supply chain and production domain.
Your primary tasks will involve overseeing specifications, systems, and processes to ensure the timely delivery of products to the market while maintaining a steadfast focus on quality. Leading the charge, you will coordinate product records, Bill of Materials (BOMs), iterations, and compliance prerequisites across a diverse array of thrilling, innovative projects.
Key skills required for this NPI Engineer Job:
- Possesses a degree in a pertinent field from a Russell Group university or its equivalent
- Holds a minimum of 2 years’ industry exposure in addressing mechanical and product design as well as technical manufacturing challenges.
- Displays proficiency in Lean manufacturing, process design, and stabilisation techniques.
- Exhibits adeptness in fostering continuous improvement initiatives within a production setting.
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail coupled with a systematic approach to tasks.
- Capable of articulating prior design involvements, elucidating the underlying design processes, and substantiating decisions made.
- Proficient in effectively conveying ideas and concepts in both spoken and written English, particularly within a technical context.
- Offers substantiated evidence of collaborative prowess, contributing skills, experiences, and interests cohesively within a team dynamic.
