Motor Control Design Engineer – Oxford – £65k 

Hexwired Recruitment is currently searching for a Motor Control Design Engineer to become part of our team and contribute to our mission of creating exceptionally efficient and lightweight regulated solutions. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting various projects and teams by developing simulations and optimisations for motor Control Units and other product offerings.

Key skills required for this Motor Control Design Engineer Job: 

  • Possession of a degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification 
  • Demonstrated prior experience in a similar role 
  • Proficiency and knowledge in the field of inverter motor controllers 
  • Proven track record in the design of inverters for motor control 
  • Expertise in modelling and simulating motor controllers and power electronics 
  • Competence in modelling and simulating both analog and digital electronics, as well as PCBs 
  • Familiarity with simulation tools such as SPICE, Simetrix, MATLAB/Simulink 
  • A solid grasp of electronics component models 
  • Effective communication skills, encompassing both written and verbal communication, along with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams 
  • Experience in interfacing with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors 
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a rapidly evolving industry and environment
