Embedded Linux Engineer – London – Semi remote – £55k – £70k
Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for a world leader in Video solutions based in London now seeking an Embedded Linux engineer to help develop a range of products the company is looking to bring to the market.
The company are expanding due to recent successes and are now seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer with a strong focus on Linux Kernel development to help bring innovation to their products as well as updating their existing products.
This is an Embedded Linux role within the team and you will get the chance to influence the final design of their products as well as excellent scope to progress within the business. Due to the nature of the work, the company are very interested in candidates with a Video or Audio background. But similar industries can be considered.
Key Skills
- Degree in Embedded systems, Computer science or similar
- 3+ years commercial Embedded C experience
- Good commercial Embedded Linux experience (BSP, Board bringup etc)
- Knowledge of Yocto or Buildroot is a nice to have but not essential
