FPGA Engineer– Cambridge – £80k – £200k

Key skills required for this FPGA Engineer Job: 

  • Collaborate in the creation of FPGA-powered solutions to enable ultra-low latency transport systems. 
  • Engage in FPGA programming using Verilog, playing an active role in multifaceted teams focused on developing innovative products as an FPGA design engineer. 
  • Contribute to functional and performance testing procedures for emerging FPGA designs. 
  • Aid in diagnosing and determining the underlying causes of FPGA algorithm failures. 
  • Participate in laboratory testing of prototype equipment and address enhancements in FPGA performance.
  • Be prepared for potential additions of other FPGA design responsibilities as business conditions evolve. 
  • A minimum of three years of FPGA design experience is essential. 
  • Possess expertise in FPGA-based data processing for high-speed, real-time systems. 
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the FPGA firmware development process, encompassing Verilog code development, simulation, synthesis, and timing closure.
