How-To: Install iBooks Fix for Jailbreak iPhone, iPad and iPod running 5.0.1

An issue was found on iBooks application last week when people applied the 5.0.1 jailbreak.

This issue was fixed, and now you can permanently patch this crashing issue. Corona, exploit found on Cydia, was updates and will require a reboot after the installation will be complete.

Our tutorial is really simple, and it is at the end just a re-installation of Corona.

***NOTE: If your iDevice is not jailbroken yet, you will not need to follow those steps. Just follow our guide on How-To Jailbreak iDevices on iOS 5.0.1, we have already updated download link with the new jailbreak and the iBooks fix included.

If you have downloaded and jailbroken your iDevice on 5.0.1 before today, just follow these following steps to patch the issue:

1. Launch Cydia and search for Corona
2. Install Corona, when the installation is complete, reboot your iDevice normally by turn it off and power it on again.

That’s it, now that the new Corona is installed, the crashing issue of iBooks and lauchctl error are now gone!
